Extremely Rare Telescoping Industrial Clamp Lamp With A Pivoting Bracket And Adjustable Arm Supporting A Black Enamel Steel Shade. Bunte & Remmler Began Producing Kerosene Lamps 1880. In 1899, They Set Up A New Factory In Frankfurt, Where They Began Producing Gas Lighting Fixtures. During The War Years The Company Manufactured Artillery Detonators. In The 1920S And 1930S, Bunte & Remmler Was One Of The Few Producers Of Handmade Bauhaus Luminaires. The Metal Components Were Ground By Hand; In The Umbrella Sewing Lampshades Were Sewn; The Brass Polished, Nickel-Plated And Galvanized. The Company Operated Its Own Turning Shop, Boring Mill And Milling Shop. The Lighting Factory Was Discontinued In 1971 After Being Sold To Hoffmeister And Sohn.
